Shadow Work

Shadow Work celebrates the beauty of Black women and the impact of what they offer the world. It recognizes the work they do beyond public view, often without acknowledgment, while showing how brightly their presence can shine. Three sculptural forms emerge from the dark, with gold illuminating their curves and extending onto the canvas below. Their radiance commands attention and reaches beyond them. The work invites recognition of Black women’s gifts and the richness that becomes possible when those gifts are welcomed and embraced.
