Unfinished

Unfinished holds open the question of when a painting is complete. Layers of color and repeated marks overlap, interrupt one another, and emerge again across the canvas. The eye moves among them, finding connections without settling in one place.

Created through an exploration beyond a familiar palette, the painting remained poised between what was already present and what might still be added. Its title preserves that moment of uncertainty, inviting viewers to consider whether completion is something a work reveals or a decision someone makes.
